Beavers Cubs Scouts

A Cub Scout Pack can have up to 36 Cub Scouts and is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Cubs usually meet on a Wednesday between 18:30 and 20:00 meeting in a variety of nearby locations depending on what they are doing.

The Promise

Scouting is available to people of all faiths as well as people who are humanist, atheist or have no affirmed faith, therefore there are different variations of the promise which can be taken to ensure that members feel able to keep to the promise they make.

The core promise for Cubs is:

I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and to the Queen, to help other people, and to keep the Cub Scout Law.

Cub Scout Law

Cub Scouts always do their best,
Think of others before themselves,
And do a good turn every day.
